Failed MOT But to good to scrap

Mon Aug 31, 2015 12:29 pm

Hi my P Plate AX Dimension has failed its MOT and its a few annoying things a wee weld and some tinkering to get emissions right that's required
I think its now time to call it a day but feel that this would be a good fixer upper for someone as the car is actually in good nick and runs well and never really gave me problems. So its up as spares or repair and I'm looking for £150 for it or decent offers. I would like to think it would be of use to someone rather than crushed. They are few and far between in scrap yards here in Scotland so if any needs parts it would do well as a donor

still got this AX and after sitting for a month or so started first time. Would be a good wee project for someone or loads of spares. Any takers?

I could be interested in it. Is interior all standard? How are the sills, bumper mounting points and any rust round the windscreen washer cap?
I'm in Paisley

Interior standard and in good condition apart from cd player installed instead of original tape deck.

There is a wee bit welding needed but will hunt out failed MOT cert to get position of it Is at the back of the car but cant mind where.

Needs one tyre, back brakes adjusting and the bit the fuel filler cap goes into needs replace but think one from an AX or 106 would be available at a scrappy.

The emissions are out a bit but Euro Carparts do a cat for around £50. The picture further up is its current condition.

Has been a brilliant wee runner in the years I have had it .

Will get that mot failure and update you
