Get in willsy. 8)

Jimbob become a member and check Willsy's restoration threads out dude, the guy makes car SOS look amateurish. :D

Sorry Lee's genuinely no offence to you both but If there was anyone I would like to see restore a GT500 it would have to be Sir Immaculate Willsy patience of the saints the 1st, he just goes crazy deep into it.

If the car had a virginal passage he would be so deep he would be intruding the oral passage or if he went through the exhaust pipe he would be going through the length of it, up the manifold into the outlet through the combustion chamber, up the inlet and carb and the purple head would be sticking out the air box.

A weird metaphor of explaining how meticulous willsy's work is I know, but he's just deep.

I think alright is a good description, it doesn't stop on a sixpence. Been out in the saxo tonight and the vtr brakes are much better, discs at the rear though. I think I'm going to get new calipers, may as well and new flexy hoses, no point doing half a job I suppose :)

They are a definite upgrade from stock pads, but the VTR brakes are quite a fair bit better for sure, my current AX has a 106 GTI rear disk axel that stopped better than my AX VTS with rear drum axel for sure, my comp brake bias valve has come so I can adjust the rears as I don't want them locking up, when that happens you normally end up in a ditch or facing the wrong way round.

Ste your brakes feel a lot better because they got the dream team treatment. :)

Cant wait get mine finished, been flat out decorating the house looks 10 times better now, getting to the point where I can put some progress in on the beast, cant wait get out with everyone this summer going to update my thread a tad soon. :D
