Hello from GT5 project owner

Sat May 16, 2015 7:32 pm

Hi all,

I've recently started a project - the ultimate goal was to find an AX in need of help, restore the little beauty and get her on the road in time for the big trip to the Netherlands ICCCR in August 2016.

Signed up to your club (paid my tenner) for some extra support, a sanity check (not gone completely crackers have I? - girlfriend thinks so), to meet some like-minded people and hopefully to get my mitts on some of the parts I'll be needing.

The GT5 was originally owned by a member of the AXOC, I'm told. I imagine they'll be happy to know the old girl is making her way back to the roads under the ownership of a man with more money than sense!

cheers lads! All the braking system needs replacing, loads of seals have perished, a fair amount of welding. That'll take a month or more alone! Trying my hardest to get her involved in it, got her a nitro RC car last year: hoping she'd get the bug from fixing and tuning it. Project 'our-lass' is 50% complete as she enjoys the little cars.

When do I get access to all the members area?

My history and email sent items say I completed that on Mon 18/05/2015 19:45.

Itching to see those project threads too (found a chap called Jessop's thread on Detailing World though)
