We finished the first stage of the build on thursday: Subaru Impreza Turbo 2000; stock engine, suspension, brakes, and transmission.

SS1 on the Premier rally is our first time in 4wd and I've not driven on gravel for 2 years... baptism of fire!

How much time you spent sideways!

Traction is the major difference, it just grips and goes whereas the 205 used to spin up everywhere. That said the 205 was a lot more nimble, in the video you can see me working really hard to try to get a pendulum going; I'm not used to the weight of the car yet!

Weight makes a huge diffrance, in a heavy car you have to really throw it about to get it to do what you want, on the other hand you find more grip due to the weight while in a light car especially if its fwd you have to work hard to find grip as you carnt rely of the weight.
